Harlem Beach is located in Tablanusu Village, Depepre District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province. Many say that this beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Jayapura. The distance is quite far and not many visitors come will make you feel the sensation of having fun like on a private beach.
Harlem Beach is a white sandy beach with clear water and beautiful gradations, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Here you can see corals, fish, and other marine animals. Besides snorkeling and swimming, you can also try your hand at catching fish, playing in the sand, or just enjoying the scenery and solitude. In addition, there is a water pool near the beach that is used to rinse our bodies after playing on the beach which has naturally clear and fresh water.
To get to Harlem Beach, it can only be accessed by sea. You just need to go to the first Depepre Pier, 48 km west of Jayapura or 22 km from Sentani. Here you can get a boat to Harlem Beach with an estimated time of 15 minutes. You can rent a boat for Rp 300,000 - 400,000 which can carry about up to 10 passengers.
