For example, one of the most famous beautiful lakes in Kalimantan is Labuan Cermin Lake in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. Labuan Cermin Lake is a tourist attraction that attracts many tourists because of its underwater paradise. For information, the phenomenon of these two flavors is nicknamed Meromictic Lake, which is a lake whose layers of water do not mix with each other.

There are aquatic animals that can live in the salt water and fresh water in this lake. Because there are two different layers of water, salt water at the bottom, and fresh water at the top, the upper part contains freshwater fish, and if you want to see turtles and coral reefs, you can dive to the bottom of the lake which is filled with seawater.

This uniqueness makes Labuan Cermin nature tourism dubbed the miracle of 2 tastes. This can happen because the geography of this lake is near the coast, causing such a natural phenomenon. The lake water often looks as clear as glass with enchanting surrounding scenery. The clarity of the lake can also reflect shadows like a mirror so that the name is also the background of the lake's name.
