Footage Nusantara - Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is the only conservation area in Indonesia that has a 10 km sea of sand called Tengger, where four new volcanoes are located. These are Gunung Batok (2,470m), Gunung Kursi (2,581m), Gunung Watangan (2,661m), and Gunung Widodaren (2,650m). However, of these mountains, Mount Bromo is the only one still active. The temperature at the top of Mount Bromo ranges from 5 to 18 degrees Celsius. Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park or TNBTS is a natural tourism area in East Java located in the administrative regions of Pasuruan Regency, Malang Regency, Lumajang Regency, and Probolinggo Regency. Established as a national park in 1982, Bromo Tengger Semeru has an area of about 50,276.3 Ha.
In this TNBTS, there are some nature reserves, tourist parks, and forests. The national park area includes the Tengger Sand Sea Nature Reserve, Ranu Kumbolo Nature Reserve, Ranu Pani-Ranu Regulo Tourist Park, Ranu Darungan Tourist Park, Tengger Sand Sea Tourist Park, as well as Production Forest and Protected Forest. Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is inhabited by the Tengger tribe.
These people build houses with yards planted with local plants. Two villages within Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park are Ngadas Village and Ranu Pani Village. The Tengger people have lived in the Tengger mountain area since the 9th century AD.

In addition to the residents of the two villages, around the border of the Bromo Semeru Tengger National Park also live Tengger people in several districts. These districts are Malang Regency, Pasuruan Regency, Probolinggo Regency, and Lumajang Regency. The ecosystem in this national park is still very pristine because it is preserved by the indigenous people. In addition, the government also manages it with a zoning system. Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is also used for conservation, research, education, and tourism.
