Lubang Buaya Morella Beach, an Enchanting Hidden Paradise in Maluku

Lubang Buaya Beach has no white sand and has clear turquoise water. The name crocodile hole comes from a myth circulating in this area. It is said that a white crocodile is living in a coral hole on the beach. Other information also mentions that there is a basin with some walls on the beach with holes so it is called Crocodile Beach. There is also mention that the name is taken from the curve of the coastline which is said to resemble a crocodile.

Another name for Lubang Buaya Beach is Namanalu Beach. The location of Lubang Buaya Morela is located approximately 20 kilometers from the center of Ambon City. Since 2016, Lubang Buaya Beach has been increasingly recognized by snorkeling and diving lovers. Lubang Buaya Morella has an amazing underwater beauty. The fish and corals on this beach are very diverse and still beautiful. Troughs to gaping caves are under the sea surface.

Lubang Buaya Beach or Namanalu Beach became famous in 2016. This tourist destination is often considered extreme by the local community because it is filled with corals and rocks on the beach. In addition, when viewed from above, there is a dark blue color in the sea which indicates that the sea is quite deep reaching 100 meters.
