Karimunjawa National Park consists of several zones. Karimunjawa itself encompasses 27 islands with a total area of approximately 111,625 hectares. The Karimunjawa zoning is divided into several areas: core, jungle, marine tourism, marine cultivation, rehabilitation, and fisheries. This is in accordance with the Decree of the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystems (KSDAE) No. SK.28/IV-SET/2012.
